While many ISVs only sell directly to their end-users, we recognize that larger ISVs often not only sell directly to their end-users but have Resellers that sell their products to their end-users on their behalf.
We often find that not only do ISVs have resellers selling their product, but these resellers also have further resellers below them. This often takes the form of a familiar hierarchy structure of “ISV→Distributor→Reseller”.
Zentitle has now been built to provide the necessary functionality to support these kinds of retailing and distribution structures. We call this the Reseller Portal. Speak to your Account Representative if you would like to use this, but don't have it available to you yet as part of your package.
To take advantage of this functionality, any Enterprise customer can create Resellers ‘below them’ and provide logins for these Resellers, and Sub-Resellers can subsequently be created below that.
Users can be created for Resellers and Sub-Resellers with various permissions that permit them or restrict them from performing certain tasks as you see fit.
Reseller functionality works hand in hand with License Code Profiles, and as such, the License Codes belonging to each Code Profile become linked to a particular Reseller so that everything is kept separated, audited and organized.

Creating Resellers and their Users - This document instructs you in the creation and management of resellers, including assigning license code profiles to resellers and creating reseller users.
The following articles show you how the Zentitle UI will look from the point of view of one of your reseller users so that you will know which capabilities they have, which restrictions apply to them and so that you can provide them with support.
Zentitle - The Reseller Admin Portal: A reseller admin has the ability to manage license codes in the profiles that have been assigned to them. Additionally, they are able to manage their own users, company details and are able to create sub-resellers.
Zentitle - The Reseller Standard Portal: A standard reseller user has the ability to manage license codes in the profiles that have been assigned to them.
Zentitle - The Reseller Support Portal: A support reseller user has the ability to view information pertaining to the license codes in the profiles that have been assigned to them.
All reseller users are able to perform searches with the same functionality as the ISV although with search results restricted to the license code profiles that have been assigned to them. They are also able to assist with offline activations.
