Overview
Nalpeiron offer an End-User Portal as a feature of our Zentitle licensing platform. This portal enables your customers to view and manage their products and licenses on a visually appealing, easy-to-use dashboard that can be customized to conform to your corporate or product branding.
The Zentitle End-User Portal is designed to supplement our Account-Based Licensing functionality, giving your customers a location where they can view and manage their software entitlements.
The functionality available through the Zentitle End-User Portal depends upon which type of user is logged in. There are three types of user:
- Admin Users. These are ISV users i.e. members of your own team, who have responsibility for configuring the portal according to your business requirements.
-
Master Users. In terms of our Account-Based Licensing, these are users who can perform certain management tasks on Standard Users (see below.) All users in a Master Group are Master Users with respect to the group's subgroups. However, it is also possible to promote a Standard User to Master status within their own group.
- Standard Users. In our Account-Based Licensing model, these are users who are associated with Standard Groups, to which license codes may be assigned.
The documents at the above links describe the functionality specific to each individual user type. An Admin account will be setup for you when you have this functionality enabled on your Zentitle account. The Master and Standard users are those you will have setup in the Groups page on the Zentitle dashboard, with the same login credentials.
Release Policy
Zentitle customers who use the End-User Portal (EUP) have the choice to either remain on their current version of the software, or to upgrade to the most recent production version. Release notes shall be distributed outlining all the changes and enhancements from one production version to the next. Bug fixes shall only be applied to the most recent production version. By default, customers will remain on their current version until they explicitly request they be upgraded to the latest production version by way of speaking with their account manager.
