  This new SaaS REST API is intended to replace the existing SaaS API, which it will deprecate on release to production following the beta testing phase. The existing API will continue to function for a further year. However, it will receive no additional updates (except bugfixes.) As such, we advise software vendors using the existing SaaS API to start trialing this new API as soon as is convenient. We welcome any suggestions for improvement of this functionality during beta testing.
